Enermodal's qualified retrocommissioning provider, Dennis Jones, is a pioneer in providing RCx services for utilities. He completed 3 pilot RCx projects for PECI in 2006, which led to the current California RCx programs and has recently completed 15 RCx projects for Xcel Energy and Utah Power. Enermodal has developed a streamlined approach that aligns with the RCx Program scope of work. Enermodal projects have seen implementation costs that typically pay back by the energy cost savings in a few months. We rely heavily on BAS trend analysis supplemented with Enermodal power monitors to identify inefficient control of HVAC systems caused by poorly specified or programmed control sequences, failed control sensors and actuators, and synergistic opportunities that are apparent only with careful trend data analysis. |
